Khulumani is grateful to Sr Ruth Loubser, a sexuality educator who serves on the board of SASHA, the South African Sexual Health Association, for leading the workshop and to our partners the Australian Mamas and Gogos who have become connected to the Khulumani Gogos Forum over the past year, for providing funding for this initiative as well as for providing a budget to the Gogos beadmaking project.

The overwhelming consensus was that this was the birthing of an important new development amongst Khulumani's membership and that it would empower Khulumani members and their children to become community communicators about accurate information on sex, sexuality and women's health.
