THE JOURNEY OF RECONCILIATION CONTINUES FROM THE GRAVES OF ALL THE MAMELODI MARTYRS

You are warmly invited by Mamelodi Struggle Activists in partnership with Khulumani Support Group & UP Law Students to a

Commemoration of the Sacrifices of all Mamelodi’s Struggle Activists and Victims / Survivors of Apartheid Gross Human Rights Violations

on National Day of Reconciliation:

WHEN: 16 December 2016 from 09:30

WHERE: St Peter Claver Church, Skosana-Xaba Street, Mamelodi East, Pretoria

This commemoration is organised by a task team of Mamelodi struggle activists working with final year law students from the University of Pretoria and Khulumani Support Group. The focus will be on the necessary journey of fulfilling the promises of the democratic transition and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission that have left so many excluded from possibilities of living in dignity through the securing of compensation that was anticipated in the recommendations from the Reparations and Rehabilitation Committee of the TRC.
